Someone asked for a color poll, OK. And said Celeste was not a choice you had to choose between blue or green. Fine, between blue and green is Aqua (shhh. read aqua as celeste but do not tell the poster)

Never owned a Bianchi, but have always admired that meant to stand out celeste color. In a world of splashy, raucous color schemes (the killer whale inspired current "splotch" trend) that hide a bike's elegant lines, I like the older, full-on Bianchi color. (Even if it doesn't match many other colors!)

Hmmm: poll results so far favor black, white, and red; add silver, and you have the most popular car colors today.

How about metallic brown/charcoal, since my Bianchi is not celeste.

Obviously I love my white with red highlights Roubaix, but I have always thought that celeste that Bianchi puts out is one helluva cool color.

I was the OP. Thanks, KC, for setting up the poll. I did not mean to offend Bianchi "Celeste" lovers, just trying to keep it simple. I see now that there will always be some colors that are not included.

Black was the closest thing to dark CF weave. Actually I prefer black/red, but chose black because I'd rather have all black than all red.

Thanks for settin' up the poll, Ken! :)

Yellow is the fastest color. I can confirm this. My yellow bike is faster than my silver one.

Well I voted blue as that is what I prefer in everything. But I own black, black, and white with blue.

Grey: choose white and black, mix

With a limit of 10 choices to get magenta pick red and blue; to get pink pick red and white. Not sure of the blend for brown; maybe red and yellow? If it had not been necessary to put in aqua and violet I would like to have: others; make comment and Pie (preferably chocolate chip cookie pie or EKU 28 pie). Having fun here while the rest of the club is putting on the "Terrible Two" DC.

No silver, gray, or brown???

Two of my four bikes are silver and another is red with silver accents.

I picked the colors I currently own. I've seen bikes in almost all colors that look great. A couple greens look very nice, and there is always chrome!
Some colors are more prone to being ugly - I've never seen a pretty dark brown bike.

I would have voted silver had it been there but in all honesty I don't think that I ever got to make a color choice on a new bike.

I've just always taken whatever color frame was available with the right price/performance for the project.

I've never seen a brown bike, but I think I would like it a lot.

I voted for black. I like how serious they look, and how they look like like "working bikes". I like how dirt dries on them. I like how they're not flashy.

I happen to like Celeste. Almost bought a VOlpe. Don't think those come in Celeste. ? My favorite color is probably red. But, I'd prefer two tone. Probably red with black.

Of the five bikes my wife and I have, we have 1 Red, 1 Yellow, 1 Blue, and 1 SILVER and 1 CLEAR (and I must say quite handsome) Titanium. So I had to vote Red, Yellow and Blue. If the rules said only 1 vote and I had followed them I would have to say my wifes Litespeed Capella with the two different blues is by far the best looking of them.

Some new cars are coming out with a color they call Root Beer, which is sort of like brown only a little more interesting. It would be cool to have a bike that's colored Root Beer.

I love it, Lenny! I see from the poll results that White is lagging behind. Red, black and blue seem to be the favorites of the 50+ crowd so far. Any comments from So Cal, Gary??!!

Actually, if you look at the colored line indicating number of votes for "Green", it is almost a "Celeste" color... at least on my monitor.

One of my votes was for green, although I don't like bright greens, like lime green or yellow-green. I like darker greens and the more pastel lighter greens, like the Jamis Sage Green and Bianchi's Gang Green on their Volpe.

What... no pink? Maybe we need a new poll for color preference for helmets.

Funny.... my preferences seem to be the most popular in the poll. I like my black bike (black goes with everything, you know), I like Hubby's red bike.... and my favorite overall color in anything is blue.

Lenny, I forgot to tell you that I love the black rig you posted. You're right... it looks like a workhorse. I like that in a bike.

Hey, as an aside... Terrierman... what kind of terriers do you have? Is your bike responsive or even reactive? Is it always willing to engage other bikes? Is it a terrier?

I have working dogs, and my bike is a working bike, but soft, biddable and go-anywhere like my Berners.

Can this train of thought hold its own? Any other dog owners? Should we make a thread?

I keep Jack Russell Terriers. Working Jack Russell Terriers actually. As you may know, they were originally developed in England to pursue fox in the earths, adding a great deal of fun to the already magnificent sport of fox hunting. Here in the U.S. we don't have anything like the number of fox they have in the U.K., so we make do with what we have in good numbers, which are groundhogs, raccoons and opossums. We have a lot of fun hunting our dogs. We've made friends all over the U.S and a good part of the U.K. because of them. Been to the U.K. three times now on dog fun time.

I think I can fairly describe my bike as both responsive and reactive. It's named after a well known pair of Jack Russells, who are in the pedigree of the dog in my avatar. Needless to say, I love dogs a lot. Thanks for asking!

So is gold, and metallic light blue is actually radically different from light blue, 'specially in the sun!

Ah! So your bike probably forces you to keep up with it and jumps over curbs just for fun! Hopefully it doesn't "go to ground" much. I love dogs that are actually doing what they were meant to do..it just gives me great joy.
