I've got an eTrex Legend on my bike and it's great except for one thing: I can't hear the beep alerts! Does anyone know of a way (I'll even take a hack) to increase the volume?

I did alittle gogle searching but it's hella late right now for me to fully read up this site. Perhaps something of use can be found here.

http://www.tramsoft.ch/gps/garmin_etrex-legend-firmware-upgrades_en.html It also covers Sunnto watches as well.

Thanks for posting that. Unfortunately, they never did anything to increase the volume -- no idea why. It'd actually be easy from a software standpoint since it's just beeps, no voice. You just increase the gain on the sound clip. If anyone knows the software format and how to change the volume/sound clip, that'd be really cool!
