Saw a Paris Sport at a garage sale today - pretty sure it will be there tomorrow

dia compe brakes - sun tour der. front and back - 12 speed - shift levers on stem - cotterless cranks - nondescript seat- aluminum stem - heavy steel frame - no ID on tubes used - steel rims - serial numbers stamped on seat tube and fork

I figure must be from 70's - still has Park Cycle sticker on seat tube

I thought it might be a hoot to buy as a piece of NJ nostalgia - probably going to offer $20

Any ideas?

buy it. you need it. you dont have enough bikes. theres still room somewhare. Its only $20 .

I would get it. I am in the process of restoring a Paris Sport right now that I love, but it is a 5 speed. With Cotterless cranks and a 12 speed, that one is probably newer or higher end than the one I have.

I am tied to their history somewhat, so I got mine for sentimental reasons and because I loved the lugs. The first team I was ever on was part of the North Jersey Bicycle Club started out of the Paris Sport shop.
