Should see if I can dig up a link to their video - it'd be appropriate for today.

best I could do is try to remember mine after these years. So, I went out for a ride and every store window was a reminder of a gift I no longer need to buy.

happy father's day to all that are fathers or to those who have been a father figure at some point!

Thanks, my gay boss, who has never met his father, is making me work all day. This is the 8th out of 10 father's days that I have missed now.

That's so sad to hear TechJunkie. I take it you're a father yourself so I wish you an amazing father's day.

I've almost always worked Fathers' Day, which is understandable. I'm just pissed because not only am I the only one here today, I'm the only father in my department. My kid's 10th birthday is Friday, too, so what days do I get off this week? Monday and Wednesday. WTF?!?

Done with my rant now. Thanks.

Thanks all - I am getting the best Father's day present this year - it looks like our son and his soon to be wife is coming down to work in the family business. He also has said he wants to take over from the old geezer (he didn't say it that way...) in the future. I couldn't be happier...

My youngest daughter made me a nice card and enclosed coupons for, among other things, "vacuum car" with an expiration date of October 2007. :)
My oldest daughter made me a great card with some very useful coupons as well but my favorite was "Hugs", unlimited! I know who will be having a better birthday. :)
Being a dad is cool.

That's great. Nothing else gives you that feeling like you get when your kids want to walk in your foosteps.

I gave my dad a call at 12:00:01 am today.

I'm sure he can appreciate the love I have for him.

I don't have any kids, but I went over to my parents' place tonight to hang out with my mom, dad, sister, brother in law, nephew (4 years old), and niece (2 years old in August). My nephew wished his dad and his grandfather a happy Father's Day, and then he wished me a happy Father's Day as well. It was cute, but still kinda scary. I love being an uncle, but I have no desire to have any kids of my own. I just smiled and said, "I'm still working on it buddy!"
