and the change will be, from scorching blue skies and 48 degrees Centigrade here in Bahrain, to this www.bbc.co.uk/weather/5day.shtml.

I'm leaving tonight, and starting the first leg of a tour from London to Copenhagen tomorrow. A rather damp beginning, I fear. Maybe a change will be as good as a rust.

See you when I get back. Don't go too fast, be careful, wear a helmet, call me if you're going to be back out late, you know how I worry!

8 days of around 100km per day is the plan - but they're Northern European midsummer days, land of the midnight sun! Plenty of time to sightsee and take breaks.
