I know these are about as road as you can get, but they are as stiff as buggery, reasonably light, look OK so would they work for track racing?

- Make sure your chainline is good.
- Check that pedal clearance on your track with your particular crank / frame / pedal combo is not going to be an issue.
- Be aware that you'll be less likely to be able to borrow chainrings from others to use on these cranks as they are 130bcd (I think). Most track cranks use 144bcd. If you have your own chainrings this is not an issue.

Otherwise, I'd say go for it. If you get comments about crank stiffness vs true track cranks I'd take them with a pinch of salt; this is almost certainly not an issue for you at this point.

Thanks. I am a road sprinter, I do value a stiff crank. These also seem like a value option compared to something like DA or 75s

The Road twin is near enough to the Track chainline for them to work if you use the inner ring mounts.

I just bought the Truvativ(Bontrager) giga X which is a bit closer to the Track chainline than the Shimano Hollowtech for much the same reasons especially bang for buck.
