L.I. Man Shot 3 Times While Riding Bike
HUNTINGTON, N.Y. -- A 28-year-old Long Island man was near death on Monday after he was shot several times while riding his bicycle.
Suffolk police said Nahun Diaz Acosta, of Huntington, was riding his bike on Woodhull Road when someone shot at him. Acosta was struck twice in the left hip and once in the left thigh. He was taken to Huntington Hospital, where he is in critical condition.
Anyone who may have information about the shooting is asked to call Suffolk police at 631-854-8252 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
