Saw and ad for this...

"S-Works/Mavic wheelset,Hugi made hubs(like 240s),32 DT 15g
spokes,Open Pro rims"

Can you guys tell me if this a good combination for rim/hubs? People have told me to get the Open Pro/Dura Ace combination. Do you know how they compare with each other?

If you are buying a bike with the specialized combo stick with it until you wear it out. IF you are buying just the wheel set i'd go with the dura ace option.

I'm just looking at buying the wheels. Thanks for the response.

I have S-works wheels on my MTB and love them. They are Mavic X517 on Hugi hubs - great wheels and super light. The road version is probably really nice also.

I also own a pair of Dura-Ace/OpePro wheels (which are really nice by the way), but everything else being equal, I'd opt for the Hugis over Dura-Ace. ...they're considerably lighter and (i think) just as tough.

Oh! my Hugi free-wheel is a bit noisy. ...and the Dura-Ace is nice and quiet. ...Another consideration!

I prefer loud freewheels. When you are cruising behind somebody, they hear you coming way before you are next to them.
