Will become more popular. This rig is pedaled 90% of time.

Isn't that super loud though to ride? Not to mention the nasty greenhouse gasses it's spewing, among other things.

Loud and constantly on it seems. A few buzz around here. My old TerraTrike was ideal for a 2001 Currie electric motor, and I sure enjoy the "stealth" mode. The roof and fairing brace gave up; so Monday I rode it to a repair shop.

On the way home I piddled along at about 5mph just pedaling. Someone came up behind me and pulled out to pass. I don't know what came over me, but I acted like I never saw him in my mirror- no wild twists, or vibrations- just- zip: 5 to 16.9mph in about 30 feet (then I pedaled hard in high gear- motor off), and in 1 block he shrank then 2 blocks- vanished. My unmotorized trikes do not have that acceleration.

I don't know if a person could do that 'off - on - off' routine while moving with a gas motor.

I put a Crystalyte hubmotor on a Schwinn cruiser with 48V and top speed is 27.5mph and it's silent. No heat also!!!!
