Looking for anyone interested in doing a longer 'pre-STP' training ride this Saturday. Thinking of around 100 miles at a moderate pace (17 mph ave or so) with a stop for a quick lunch somewhere. Will probably start somewhere in Snohomish, and then loop around Lake Roesiger, Monroe, Duvall and return. I am open to any possible routes. No drops.
I did my first 'century' in over 20 years last Saturday (96 miles, 5 hrs 25 min) and so want to see if I can repeat this weekend.

Hi Davey, just saw your thread, sorry, I won't be able to make it tomorrow....work commitments:mad: ...maybe next weekend.
Looks like your training for STP is going well. A century under 5 1/2 is good going.
Have a good ride.

Thanks guys, I'm starting to feel pretty good. Saturday was a good ride, although a little slower (100 @ 5'47"). I rode to the end of the Centennial trail and back and then did the Lake Roesiger loop. I made a wrong turn and ended up doing some serious hills north on Dubuque road (on the way to Flowing Lake I think?) But I turned around and eventually made my way back to Monroe and then home. Did another 44 today but flatted 4 miles from home (darn broken bottle in the road.)
I think most of my next rides will be shorter as I'm wearing thin the patience of my better half. Looking forward to my first STP. Any thoughts about when to start pulling back before that ride?
