what if i need a45mm rake but i can only find a 43mm rake fork will it be that big a deal esp since i havent been on the frame yet?

Not a significant difference. Theoretically with the lower rake, you'll have more trail for stability. But it's so minor, you won't notice a thing. It's around a +5mm difference that you start to notice a difference in handling. The 43mm-rake fork will be fine.
