Century??? 100 what?
100 miles, like any other Century. about 25 ZooBomb runs on a 16" bike. takes about 6 hours to finish.

Total time for the 25 runs ?
Was a 16" bike mandated in the competiton rules?

About 4 runs per hour so about 6 hours

yes. you can ride whatever you want but your finish is only 'official' on a 16" wheel or smaller bike

I think my favourite aspect of the whole thing is that Capn iFUN! is properly kitted out in full roadie gear until you get to what appear to be Doc Martins. Which is still totally cool.

It was actually 20 runs and 8 hours and 20 minutes. That's if you pick your route right. The riding back and forth between MAX stop waiting for the train is what totally kills your overalll time - and your body.
Here's the route maps/manifest:

They would get better performance on asphalt by trading the knobbies for smoother tires.

I was running a schwalbe 1.25" 110psi on the rear and a 12" kenda 60psi up front, both sweet effin tires. The tires are the best thing you can do to improve your speed. Even hookworms suck because of the width. Rabbit who was neck and neck for most of the race had even slicker/narrower tires and a 18/14 flip flop rear wheel with a 52 tooth ring up front!
