Mountain Biking - Brooks Conquest ATB Saddle

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Has anyone here used the Brooks Conquest ATB Saddle? Here is a link:

I'm a recent convert to Brooks, having gotten a B-17 for my road bike. However, I've never seen one of these off road models in person and am wondering what experiencees (if any) the people in these forums might have with it?
Thanks,
Lorenzo

I'll grant that - more important, how does it feel? Don't really care how it looks when my ass is on it.

check out wallbike.com and the B72 style, its not quite as aggressive as the conquest, you might like it a little more. We have one on the stroker seat and it serves well.

I've been riding Brooks Conquest All Terrain everyday since I was lucky enough to get one from wallbike.com last fall.
I'm looking foward to testing the Conquest with Cane Creek's Thudbuster seatpost in Telluride next month. I also plan to bring the Brooks Champion Flyer (which in my view is the best saddle for cross-country).
I've cheerfully given away all my WTB and Selle Italia, etc. seats. Having been a horseman before learning mountain biking, I remember what it's like to ride securely on leather and don't plan to go back to plastic saddles without springs!
Who needs FS ;-)
But as Bill Laine of Wallington Bike in New Orleans will advise you, you have to wax these taut leather masterpieces with Brooks' Profide during the break-in period and it helps to take along a rain-proof cover (www.carradice.co.uk).
