I have the NiteRider Rage light system and am using it with the universal taillight (with Surlock connectors) . It seems to me that the adaptor has serious design flaws. Since both the battery and taillight are toward the rear of the bike, wouldn't it make sense for the adaptor fittings for the battery and taillight be located on the same side of the adaptor? The way it is designed I have to put a sharp bend in the taillight's wire to make it come around to the back. If it was designed to be connected in a different way, I missed it. Does anyone have the same complaint or know a better way to hook up the system?
