There's a local seller for this used bike and I just want to know if it's worth it to spend my money to buy it.

Thanks

The components are fairly low end but serviceable, Marzocchi forks are generally good - though it's probably only got the EXR's which are made for Marzocchi by Suntour, the frames fine for cross-country (assuming it's your size) but don't think about using it for jumping or drops. Looks a good enough entry level bike. Does it fit you? - 16" is pretty small. Has it been well treated? What's the price like compared to new? What's the price like compared to a discounted old model?

Good luck

I don't know if it fits me, I don't know how big is a 16" frame and I'm about 5'9. What size frame is most of the bike for adults?
As for the price, the seller wants $400 CAD firm

I think 16" would be a tad small for a person who is 5'9". Here is a link to Sheldon god Brown's website on fitting a bike, it will give you some links to other sites. $400. is not a bad price if it is in good shape, but in Vancouver you should find some good deals. I would have a look at some of the shops, try some new bikes out, and remember what size they fit you with. Buying new has its advantage like fitting, swapping parts, warranty, tune-ups, and a knowledgeable helping hand when needed, discount on parts and accessories etc.

You planning on riding the shore?. If so get fitted by a shore mechanic. You are going to want a small fitting frame for the trails here as they tend to be too technical for regular sized bikes...(it can be done but expect your dangly bits to hurt) :)..

Also since you are in Vancouver DEFINATELY check the pricing at Deep cove. They are the biggest kona dealer in north america and offer some sweet deals.
