Christopher Walken as Angel Gabriel in The Prophecy trilogy. Outstanding!
Blast from the Past is his greatest work to date.

His speech in "Pulp Fiction" is the best acting in the entire history of ever.
Edit: D'oh, too slow.

True Romance ties with his appearance in Pulp Fiction, IMHO.

That one where he didn't look like a saucer-eyed, insane, dangerous mafia power broker teetering on the edge.

Pretty good as Gabriel in the Prophecy trilogy too.

He was pretty good in Poolhall Junkies.
True Romance had some great moments. His scene With Dennis Hopper & all about Sicilians sticks in my mind.

Dont care much for sci fi fantasies. Think I like him mostly on Saturday Night Live. Favorite movies. Things to do in Denver when you are Dead, and Wedding Crashers.

Hands down - At Close Range (one of my all time favorite films)
A very under-rated film with Sean Penn, Christopher Walken and the late Michael Penn. Based on a true story, it depicts the south perfectly and subtlety, and Christopher Walken is superb as a father so ethically void that he turns on his sons.

At Close Range
King of New York
Deer Hunter
Classic performances
(P.S. Laurence Fishburne's performance in King of New York is nothing short of brilliant. If you are a fan of Laurance Fishburne it is a must see IMHO)

The best movie I've ever seen him in is a movie about merceneries with Tom Beringer from the early 80's called "The Dogs Of War". Best character I've seen him play was in Pool Hall Junkies.

He did a roast that was far better....I was sitting jaw on the floor, completely shocked and awed at it, then started laughing so freaking hard...

holy crap, I just noticed my Grandfather's gold watch is the same model as the one in Pulp Fiction.
....He was USNavy though....amusingly enough it was his war watch.
I liked "The Dead Zone", but then I'm a Stephen King fan.

Not to be a sourpuss, but ehh... I had a Sopranos thread that got deep-sixed to Books, Movies, Music & Entertainment to die a quick death.
Any reason why this thread isn't being forced to fight for it's life in the BMM dungeon?

And it includes one of Crispen Glover's best moments ever, where he's standing watch in front of the house and deliveres this perfect I'm-too-stupid-to-panic "Uh, guys, the car!"

Scotland PA- not only my favorite Walken movie, but one of my all time best
Deer Hunter, his performance FREAKED ME OUT!! What a great cast, and the film really showed how the war ruined so many great guys of that generation, damn if the oil industry isn't doing it again to this generation in Iraq, how we let them get away with it is beyond me.
