So I went to read the specs on my fork. At the Specialized website here (http://www.specialized.com/SBCBkModel.jsp?orig=us&minisite=10020&san=03Hardrock&bl=mountain&JServSessionIdroot=f4doug774e.j27003), it says this:

RST Capa TL, 80mm travel, preload adj., Cro-Mo steerer, coil/MCU spring.

However, if you go to RST's website here (http://www.rst.com.tw/2004-SPEC(jpg)/Capa-t4,c4.htm), it has this pic which has different information.

http://www.rst.com.tw/English/Spec/picture/12.jpg

So, what exactly are the specs of my fork??

So its a cheap fork.....does it really matter whats inside??? The 2 spec sheets look pretty damn much the same...except that one says 76mm and one says 80. Again....does it really matter.

I guess I read it wrong. I was thinking the pic above was stating a travel of 120mm, its the crown pitch thats 120mm. What exactly is the crown pitch?

RST is a very... unique... company. That info is clearly for an older version of the fork. They obviously don't update their Web site. The fork that comes on the Specialized is the latest model. As you can see the newer one does no have plastic "boots" on it.

An unfortunate fact. RSTs are notorious for having bad seals.
