My wife test rode and loved the Trek Madone 5.0 WSD bike. Problem was that she could not find a Trek dealer that had the bike, or claimed that there were none available from Trek, so she went with a Specialized Roubaix instead. She loves everything about the Roubaix except the handlebars. The handlebars on the Trek Madone WSD was Bontrager FIT VR, a woman's specific design handlebar with a short reach and drop. While the Bontrager website lists them as available as a component every local shop that was listed as a Bontrager dealer said they could not get them. Does anyone know of bars with similar dimensions? The FIT VR's have a reach of 70mm, and a drop of 120mm.

Not exactly the same, but the Ritchey Biomax ( II ) is a short reach, short drop and slightly swept back dropbar. You could check Excel Sports or Alfred E Bike, both online retaillers to see pictures.

Hard to believe a store can't get a bike. Did you try contacting Trek directly?:

The richey biomax is a knock off of the Nitto Noodle, which is available here...

This is a good drop bar...very comfortable.

Not the new Biomax, at least not to that picture.

reach is 77 drop is 131 the corners are in far enough so that the drops are easily availabel and the anatomic bulge flattens out what drop there is.
