Mavic CX 18 rim questions

I found a set while checking out a shop today and was debating picking them up to build up for another pair of track wheels. I was wondering what experiences anyone had with them, how they compared to the gp4s, etc.

ebay hasn't seen any in a while, so i'm also curious as to what a pair price would be for these, ie, at what points would you just pull the trigger and pick 'em up anyways?

Well I guess youre in luck as I've just bought a pair laced to mavic track hubs off electronic-bay. Usually it seems the older Mavic rims tended to be geared more towards consistency and durability and theyre new stuff is pretty yucky. I'll tell you how they run.;) (ohhhh soooo obvious I just realized CX=cyclocross 18=rim depth?)

The rim is very thin so you can`t use a 23mm tire.
