Honchie (http://www.honchie.com/) - Monkey Midget or Mulletman. Either one. Although Inside maybe the best love ballad ever written and MOFO just rocks.

BTW - Tipper Gore soils her pants whenever Honchie plays. They ARE NOT kid or work safe. Listen at your own risk and consult your doctor if the bleeding last more than 6 hours.

Most of the music I listen to in the car is catered to my daughters, aged 4 and 6. The latest is a compilation of songs from an old kids' show called Passe-Partout (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passe-Partout).

There's one very fun little song I like in there called "Zig Zag" that I love singing along to (only with my daughters, of course :) ). You can take a listen right here (http://membres.lycos.fr/ppartout/musique.html). Click on the link to "Zig Zag""

Je m'appelle Zigzag zag zag zag

It's funny you should post that right below Air because he yelled something about "free beer" at me during the 5 borough ride, on the 59th street bridge. It made me feel groovy.

Stairway to Cleveland - Jefferson Starship.

Everything by Cake (http://www.cakemusic.com) and the Starlight Mints (http://www.myspace.com/starlightmints). Some music just cracks me up, it's not even the lyrics, just the instruments they choose and the goofiness.

The best punk song title ever is NOFX's "We Threw Gasoline on the Fire and Now We Have Stumps for Arms and No Eyebrows". The song itself is kind of meh.

I also love Syd Barrett's "Effervescing Elephant"

Too true... that's why I said best punk song title. Otherwise, it could possibly have been the best song of any sort ever :D

+100 for NoFX tunes (new boobs is another great goofy one, 'specially the ending) or, if you're into that kind of thing then just about any song off of "short music for short people" 100 punk bands singing 30-second songs. There are some real gems on there.

I also dig fett's vette by mc chris

"My backpack's got jets
I'm boba the fett
I bounty hunt
for jabba hutt
to finance my vette"
