Not much drop here compared to the others on the ProTour. 5'7" on a 54.

5'7" and a 54, not much drop needed. Pretty swanky looking rig though.

The drop from the saddle to top of the bars is fairly small, but he is using deep bars. Deep for someone 5'7" anyway. I think last year he was using Deda shallow bends.

What I find amazing is that he has a 761mm BB to saddle measurement at 5'7"

that is all.
Lots of drop from saddle to the drops though.

Interesting that it's a 5.2 Black.

They couldn't get the 6.9 UCI-certified in time for this season. Assuming there's a team in 2008, they'll be on the 6.9

I think the coolest bike out there right now (aside from Cervelo) is Wilier's Lampre TT bike:

I think the picture angle is a bit decieving. There is still 3 or 4" of drop which is a fair amount for a guy without much of a torso.

Dang, that's a lot for 5'7". I'm 6'3" and only have 83-84cm.

He's upsizing the frame to get more top tube length, like I do, so the head tube is too long to get much drop. Man, he's got that saddle high though. 6cm higher than mine.

Are these things suspended on dental floss/fishing line or do they just roll them into the frame, snap the picture, and then catch the thing before it falls and breaks the pretty SRM?

Funny. The saddle is so low its almost hitting his back wheel but he is a miget of a man.

It's a full 2 inches higher than Gilberto Simoni, who is the same height.

Personally I've questioned the measurements that cyclingnews gives from time to time some of them seem a bit dubious.

If you look at the shadows you can see the left brake is resting on the bus although you are right; often you cannot tell.

wha? looks to me like the bike is a good 10 feet away from the bus:

Treks are measured c-t that's really a 52.

Not if its a sloping TT, which it appears to be for once.

I was referring to the seat tube length not the top tube length.

I realize that. It's at least 5cm from the top of that seat tube to the center of the junction so I'm not following what you're saying is 52cm. If that bike is 54 c-t then it's probably 48 c-c at most.

Levi could have an afternoon tea on top of that SRM readout.

Equivalent of a 52 c-c non sloping bike?

I was going by whats on Treks website as listed geometry. The pic does look like the top of the seat tube is higher than a couple of cm. Regardless that bike isn't a 54 seat tube.

I would like someone to address Botto's question - how are these bikes staying up?

You think Trek would have developed an OCLV stick just for that occasion. ;)
