We ride when ere we're able,
We do highways but not bikeways
With legstrokes impeccable.
We ride well here in bikealot,
We diss FREDS and JAMS and bicyclists a lot.
We're freaks of the VC label,
Our calves are formidable, But many times, we expose doctrine
Thats not quite understandable.

We're quite mad in bikealot,
We ride on the highwaya looooooot.
In traffic we're tough and able,
yet not quite personable,
Between our rides we rage against lines,
And presume to be knowledgeable.
It's a busy life in bikealot,
We have to peddle the bull a lot.

VC Haiku

I ride as VC
Bicycle is vehicle
I am the driver

Bike path or bike lane
I can ride any of them
But I love the street

Some pretty bike paths
Are especially lovely
When I'm in the mood

Cool mornings, hot days
Exposed to the elements
Full experience

A recumbent bike
Or MTB, or road bike
I ride all of them

I go anywhere
I'm free on my bicycle
Wave at the gas pumps

Grab a snack, refresh
Douse my throat with icy cold
I'm a new man, now

Don't stare at me, man
You're the one inside a box
I'm one with outdoors

Home again, arrive
Trip's over, then tomorrow
Comes another day

Chilling in the house
Dreaming of another ride
How can they miss it?

My life is my own
Thankful for the invention
Of the bike, my friend

Freedom is worth all
Simplicity is the key
