Introductions - Greetings and Salutions from Colorful Colorado
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hey, everyone. I live approximately one mile above sea level, depending on the results of the latest, greatest, technologically superior survey published. I bought (actually, my wife bought it for me) my first ever bike as an adult about a month ago because I needed something to get my heart beating quickly, and my legs weren't cooperating with my running adventures like they have in the past. I've since become addicted to all things cycling, specifically reading the goings-on in the commuting forum as I have been spinning to and from work 2-3X a week. I competed...er completed my first ever 'race' this past weekend (27 mi...don't ask. Poor signage. wah, wah, wah) and had a blast doing so. With all due respect to Hall and/or Oates, I look forward to continuing my adult bike education.
Grace and peace, yo!
OOOPS...That's supposed to read salutations. My apologies to you and Charlotte.

Hello Vapor1, what kind of bike did your wife get you, or are you just too exhausted from all that cycling to think straight? That's one of the most important things we need to know about you.
That, and how much money you spent on it. (Just kidding about how much you spent!)
Check out the might-as-well-be-Colorado Mountains-Plains regional forum. Lots of Coloradans here.
Welcome to BF!
Thanks, East Hill. I have Specialized Hardrock Sport that I've put on Nimbus Armadillo's for a little ease in my commuting.

Much better! Now we'll expect to see some adventure stories in the Commuting forum :) .
