Great shop. I spoke with the owner Ara for quite a while about a lot of different things. Right now the shop is kind of a mix between the lower end rec market, and super high end road. It's a nice mix. It gives you an opportunity to save some dough on basic commodity stuff, and also be able to try on some Assos bibs or check out some Record parts in person.
Right now he's looking for some traffic and looking to cut some fair deals. I encourage everyone to stop by and check them out. Give him an idea of what he should be stocking to help bring in the local crowd as well. I recommended KMC chains because no one in the area seems to carry them and they're such a good buy.
I walked out with a pair of Assos F1.Mille bibs  I finally dropped the dough.
EDIT: They also have Tuesday and Thursday night A rides out of the shop following the route listed here: http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/St-Charles-38-Miles-Lots-of-Hills
From what he says it's a competetive ride with some heavy rollers in the beginning. Probably not for the faint of heart, but bring a cue sheet and don't be afraid to find your own way back. Says that the groups splits after the hills usually, and says that some people join in after the hills...meeting them out on course after the natives have settled down.
I told him I'd join up when they start the B ride. ;)
