Definitely Mexico. PGR is kind of like the Mexican FBI. That is the division for special investigations into organized crime.

That guy was a moron, and the funny thing is that my brother and I talked **** about the DMC 12 after he had pulled up in one and was accross the street from us in Royal Oak Michigan, and he was well within ear shot. At the time, we had no idea who he was, but we knew those cars were crap. 18 mpg, and oh so slow. That was about 10 years ago now.

Eh, not too many people cared about gas mileage back then. Sorry if I insulted you! I was just making a joke about how he tried to prop up his failing business with a cocaine deal, since its tied in with this thread.

There wasn't a single criminal in the entire deal! And it was THEM that approached HIM. Stinks like corporate espionage to me.
Anyway, the DeLorean with the PRV turbo V6 would've been quite nice if it ever made it into production.

Yeah it was a pretty clear case of entrapment, even if he was dumb to try to go for it, justice was served when he got off the hook.

A couple of those stacks would be enough for me. Im not greedy and dont need it all. You wouldn't even notice if 10 of those went missing.
They should have spent some of that $206 mill on better security or a better hiding place! Stupid cheap drug dealers!
I notice the huge stack has the top of the first row missing... and while all the money seems to be either in the stack or in a closet, there's 1 stash that's in a handy duffle bag...

I just read somewhere that all current US bills above $20 have a tiny metallic strip in them that when bundled together in a stack of 100 can somehow be traced. If that's true, I'd imagine that a pile that large would be pretty easy to find.

I saw Motor Week's vintage review of the Delorean re aired, and they seemed to think that in addition to the complete lack of power, it also handled very poorly, which certainly goes along with what a guy around here who owns 2 DMC12's says. So I gotta wonder, did the turbo prototype handle better or did it just have respectable power?
One funny thing I should mention, I've met John's niece since she used to live in Royal Oak, and she drives a Honda 2000.
The rich girl in town had a Delorean back in the day, I got to drive it a couple of times. For an 80's car it was ok, especially considering what was coming out of Detroit at the time. Her dad's 912 was a hell of a lot more refined though, even if it was ten or so years older.

In the 80's, Detroit had the Iroc, and that was about it.

It's a good thing they didn't look in the front hall closet. Otherwise, I'd have no money left right now.
