Road Bike Racing - Giant Tour Bike

Anybody seen any pics of the special anniversary TCR from Giant? It was supposed to be 'revealed' yesterday but I cant find any pics. Ullirch looked pretty good today. LA definetly is going to have his hands full this year. Got to love american reporting of cycling. In todays washington post there was of course a story about lance and the drive for five. Im not exactly a peloton expert but I noticed at least two mistakes in the story. Beloki rides for once, not telokom. And Beltran came to postal from coast, not coste. I dont even think coste is a team. Oh yeah, find out today that my area is getting OLN for the duration of the tour apparently!!!!!!!! YESSSSS!!! Alas Im going on vacation on tues so hopefully the hotel will get it...wishfull thinking Im sure.

I just wish OLN would lose all the redneck hunting and fishing shows. I say they should have cycling between 8am and 12pm. They could put the rest on during the night. :D

I know what you mean about the redneck shows. I thought coverage started at 930 or something. I got back and tuned in at around 1030 and some guy is hunting a deer with a handgun. Whhoooweeee...thats what I want to see. Needless to say I was cursing the tv and saying 'bring on the tour'. Cant complain too much though since I am at least getting oln. Thanks for the pic too, whered you get it? Any close ups?

i dont like the hunting and fishing shows anymore then anyone else, but atleast the equiptment manufactures and other related products advertise on OLN. there were more commercials for fishing equiptment during the giro then there was for any bike related stuff. actually the closest thing to a bike related commercial i saw during the giro was the lance suberu commercial.
if some of the bike companies would put some adds on OLN at times other than the tour they might show more cycling.
as long as hunting and fishing companies put up money we cant really blame OLN for puting them in such heavy rotation.

I figure that the hunting and fishing guys have as much right as we do to get their fix. Im glad they at least cover cycling. I cant believe the lack of attention that the tour gets here. MSN still has a front page story about a hot dog eating contest, 3 hours after Lance went down in stage 1. :rolleyes:
