Wow, on a bit of a high right now. Got the last minute ok from my consultant to go to Canada, leaving on Wednesday.
Short story involves a climbing accident and four weeks in hospital in April, and then the last 7 weeks or so been more and more convinced both that I'd be unable to go to Canada, and that I most certainly did want to.
Not going to be able to do a fraction of what I'd hoped (climbing, scrambling, hiking) due to physical and insurance restrictions, but at least I'm going. So chuffed, and so last minute too. Just gotta scratch togethor the last few bits of kit.
