Thoughts? Are these wheels tough enough (let's assume I'll dismount to jump barriers)?

I'm 160#...used them last season. No complaints, stayed true. I seem to be in the minority here though- some folks have had issues w/ their 550's
if yer thinking of Pete's, I took em, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I haven't had good experiences with the pair I had. I'm 165lbs and the rear went out of true every couple of months from regular road riding. I wouldn't even try them on a cross course.
Mine have been indestructible for 6,000+ miles. Go for it. What's the worst thing that can happen to $200 wheels?
hey spongedad, we're doing bi (sometimes tri) weekly cross practices at catholic u. nothing too crazy, just a few laps with a run up and a couple barriers per lap. pm me if you're interested, they're usually on monday nights.
dirtyphotons,
once i heal up i would love to check that out sometimes. I was wondering if anything like that went on this time of the year around here.
awesome riskus. i read about your stack, hope you heal up fast.
we've mostly been organizing at www.dcfixed.com but i think i'm gonna do a mass email cause not everybody has time to check a bajillion forums every day.
