Hey, just joined. Been riding Mountain/XC since I could ride a bike. Honed the skills in Sierra County (Downieville/Sierra City - Raise your hand if you know) on a K-Mart Magna Fugitive 10 speed. (but I could run with the best on that hunk of steel.)

Getting back into it after about a 2 year stretch. Love competing in SF traffic and riding the hulls. Single track is my first love (PCT) and the rougher the better. :D

...tentatively raises hand....is Sierra County just over the mountains from Donner Pass? I used to live in Reno....am I close???

My brother competes in San Jose traffic and lost the other day, broke his clavicle in 3 places...ouch! Bike vs. corvette.

Yeah, Sierra County is north of Donner Pass. Reno is 1.25 hours away.
