hows the wheel?

It's good. I put up a picture of it in the bike check thread. Runs really really smooth. It ended up being $325 altogether.
I'm also really happy at how hollow the 14mm axle is, because i kept toying with the idea to get a 3/8" but i wasn't sure.
Plus the clicking sound the driver makes, is amazing. :)

Getting a 3/8ths on the back just sounds like a bad idea, even though it had been done for ages. That's a lot of money for a wheel.

Damn, that's almost as much as my bike was. Not that I wouldn't spend that much on a wheel if I had enough money, but still..

To be perfectly honest, i didn't need a new rim or spokes. I just had too much money, and went all out. I'm not too proud of it though. :o
well you know your proud of it everytime you get on that bike and how smooth it rides

Profile hubs also tend to be quite wide. How does it fit?

It fits perfect in my opinion, better spacing then my Shadow hub at least. I put those two gold washers that come with the hub on the inside of the dropouts, and it was a perfect fit, no crazy pinching or anything.

Looks really nice though, post the pic in this thread. My friend blew a profile hub. He must be pretty rough though as he's gone though a proper magnalite and a KHE geisha

i hope there was 2 TI upgrades. a driver and an axle.

For the money it costs to upgrade to the Ti, it is considered a waste to many people. From looking at your bike, money does not seem to be so much of an issue to you.

I spend a lot on my bike, but i only usually get things when i need them or break them. (My frame being the only exception)
I didn't get the Ti because i don't care that much about the weight and it's a lot more money especially considering i got a new rim even though i didn't need one.
