If you want to be cold-cocked right quick by Stone, do the Ruination or the Double Bastard (both upwards of 11% alc.)

Ruination is only 7.7% alc. Russian Imperial Stout and Old Guardian barley wine tip the scales at about 11%.

Stone Wall, which was a super-special release, is 12% alc. My bottle, with a few Double Bastards, are peacefully aging in my refigerator.

I've been stuck on reds and ambers lately.

Try one of these sometime if you enjoy ambers.

I like the regular IPA from Stone better than Ruination. The Imperial Stout is fantastic. I never saw Stone Wall, though I have a feeling that a friend who lives in Vista across from one of the Stone bigwigs may have some stashed.

You had to donate the the Stone Wall project to get the beer. Strong stuff. One of the rocks out on the patio is "mine" also.

When your friend is ready to open a bottle, let him know you would be more than happy to share it with him.

I hope that you have an orange to accent it!

I sure didn't. I'll have to try that next time!
