This Saturday the Garden Section of the San Francisco chronical has a longish article with pictures about Levis' new house and how he and his wife, 3 dogs, 8 cats, and 8 bicycles pass their time on their 5 acres.

You need either the physical paper or an electronic subscription to read it.

Guffaw. Guffaw. Actually those narrow shovels are for trenching. We have 6 to 7 months without rain around here and a lot of people use those narrow shovels to put in their own subsurface and drip irrigation systems

ive used many a trenching shovel in my day. Worked at a golf course for 3 years, tons of drainage work.

They are all different.
1 short handled tile spade
1 long handled tile spade
1 #2 square point
1 #2 round point.

I suppose he can be forgiven since it's a new house but a garage that clean is just so wrong.

How many inches is he running on that shovel? Also, what type of head offers maximum.. penetration.. on wet ground?
