Hi,
Tried this in mechanics and didn't get anywhere. Figured a few more peoplr in here had probably been through this...
I had my first blowout today. Rear tire at around 19mph. Managed to bring it to a relatively safe and quick stop. The tire has a nice whole in it and clearly needs replacing, but what about the wheel? Given my weight (220lbs) should I get the wheel checked out at the LBS? There's no obvious damage, it's still 95% true and the spokes all have tension (there's no way I'd be able to detect a slight change, but they all "ping" similarly).
Thoughts and advice much appreciated.
