Boy, did I have fun today. Vertical Bob and I left from Red Box and headed out on Angeles Crest Highway to Grass Hollow. Most of ACH is freshly paved and just past the Route 39 junction it is closed to cars. Imagine freshly paved highway, devoid of cars, meandering around some absolutely gorgeous views. Weather was spectacular. It was a great ride today!! Thanks Bob

This is one of the best in the LA area. I hope Bob has another ride up there soon.

Welcome to my world Jim. Yeah that was fun, man A.C. is sweet. The sail plane was cool. I made it up to Wilson to finish with 9470 feet. I almost hit a deer on the way down, stupid deer. You must have got well over 11,000. Lets do it again next week.:D

Valley Girl, you were absent. We waited for about 3 hours at RedBox for you. Sadly, we left without you.

My ride back to the base was uneventful. Lots of cars but since all downhill, smooth sailing.

Bob and I are both bums and didn't bring a camera. Will you join us next time to take some nice shots. It really was quite nice.
