My parents, both in their early 60s, visited and stayed with me for a week. So, I got them both on bicycles. My dad was riding one of my older bikes, and my mom rode a bike that I borrowed from work. The last time they were on a bicycle was probably 30+ years ago, so the first ride was only a couple of blocks around the neighborhood. But then, they got back into the groove right away and was riding every day for their entire stay.
Since they left, I've been helping them find a used bike. As of yesterday my mother has a Breezer Uptown with the U-Frame. As for my father, there is a bicycle that we are looking at, or rather will be looking at, when the owner returns next week.
I'm just really happy and wanted to share ... that's all.
