Are you talking about getting the existing grips off? If so, pry them up with a screwdriver and spray some Windex in top and bottom. Twist off. You can spray some in the new ones too, but they should slip right on.

You don't need to spray anything on the new ones because they're lock-ons. There should be a little bolt with an allen head to tighten/loosen. And live4muzic, those grips aren't bad.

okay for help,
1 you may have bent bars so they dont fit.
2 the lockon part of the grip is tightened so it is too small.

naw bars arent bent and the screws are out so there not in. what i think i have to do is sand down the handle bars so they fit just so they snug on

If you have an air compressor that is probably the least messy and easiest. Just put the grip as far on as you can, and blast it with some air, it'll slide on with ease (sp?) and wont slip.

I love my Lock-ons. You can't really get dirt on the outside bolt because of the barend and you can't really pack any dirt on the inside bolt 'cause of the flange.
