any BF riders planning on doing this ride?
i'm considering this as my first double century, since i'll be in PA that weekend. one drawback would be that i likely would be self-supported, relying on the water and food stops for everything.
anyone?

That looks like a scary ride. More power to you if you can do it!

This is one tough ride. . . a good friend of mine did it last year and wrote a description of the route/his experience. I'll see if I can find it . . .

(edit) - can't find the original email, but I do remember his description included the facts that a) if for no other ride but this one, he would like to have a triple next time; b) they started in the dark and finished in the dark . . . and spent a lot of time climbing at 6-7 mph; c) they were very grateful for a family support vehicle with headlights behind them the last few miles.
This is a hilly ride. Non-stop rollers.
