Toronto HPV club Darlington Weekend

The Toronto Human Powered Vehicle group 'Darlington Weekend' is coming up this July 20-22.

The Toronto HPV club describes itself as: "... a social group of people who enjoy pushing the limits of bicycles and other human powered vehicles: recumbents, cargo-bikes, home-built-creations, etc. Bike rides, food, and fun are also important elements of this group!"

Uh, does anyone else think that the "HPV club" is a bad name? HPV is also the human papillomavirus, which causes gential warts and cervical cancer. (Google HPV and that's what you will see fitrst). It's been in the news as a vaccine is now available.

The term 'Human Powered Vehicle' has been around for a long time. Maybe that Herpes/cancer disease should have been the one to chose a different TLA (three letter acronym) (:
