Hi guys! Long time lurker here who just lucked in to a free Burley. I want to build it up right but am a little short on cash. I was wondering if anybody has used chosen hubs (http://www.precisiontandems.com/closeout.htm) on their tandem? Precision tandems as a good deal on close out and was looking for some reviews.

Do you mean 'Shansin' hubs?
If so, believe Burley used to utilize those on their less expensive tandems.
I had a set of Velocity built wheels, and they said the hubs were made by Cho-sen,but branded Velocity. Those hubs were quite fine with no problems,.However,we did not put a lot of miles on them.

Thanks guys. One website stated that they were used on Burleys, but I wasn't so sure about putting something inexpensive on a tandem. I would like to build it up with quality parts in the future but I really want to get it on the road quickly. Thanks for the input.
