My Crosscheck came stock with a Shimano HG-72 which already stretched after about 30miles of riding! Any chain preferences (9-speed)?

I use srams cause they are cheap and I like the quick link.

well, here is the fact of the matter: it broke in 2 weeks. dont know what to tell ya.

breaking is not the same as stretching as I said. Can you find the special pin? Was it put together properly? Did it suck and get damaged?
The skipping was likely the result of cables stretching or the chain bending not chain stretch where it physically wears down.
