Foo - Summertime....and the livings easy

so....where is everyone heading this summa?

I want to go to Minnesota, colorado or East coast.
All but Colorado are doable since i have friends in MN and on the east coast
Whether I actually get to is a completely different story. people are very flakey and i don't like imposing

Would be nice to go camping in MN or hiking through Appalachian mountains.

I'm at the beach this week, taking a few surfing lessons starting today, and it is a beautiful day.

I also have a couiple weeks planned in British Columbia for mountain biking and ????, plus I want to check out some places for skiing up there this winter.

September I'll ride the 7 day Cycle Oregon ride, I'm really stoked about that one.

ok...here's the big AJC's plans:

first, I live in a vacation/beach seaside town, so it's like being on vacation all year....BUT....

i'm heading to Coopertown for a week tourney with my 12 year old baseball squad, then down to NYC to catch a bit of the US Open,....BUT....

has anyone seen the air fares to Bermuda?? Holy Moly, it's only $200 bucks to get there, sooooo....I think I'll get off the the lovely island for a week in July.....

Heading to Bellingham Washington in mid July to go sailing. My folks have been bugging the wife and I to go sailing with them for some time. We'll be sailing around the San Juan Islands. Should be beautiful.

Just yesterday planned an 4 day trip to Crested Butte, Colorado camping and mountain biking in July. :) WHOO HOO, I've been wanting to do this for awhile now

Alot of day trips planned with the girls.

Possible two week mountain bike/camping trip end of August but not set in stone.

I'm just excited to get out and explore some of what my great state has to offer :)

Amsterdam for a week (for a conference, but getting to see some friends and colleagues, and do some riding too), and then teaching most of the rest of the summer. A number of local centuries and metrics- the CB tour especially- so all's not lost!

I have. I used to have an aunt that live 40+ minutes outside of OshKosh. It's been several years since I've been, but I have been to quite a few shows. Since my aunt moved to Texas I haven't been back to OshKosh. It's a great show.

Well, I plan to go next year, and hope to have my PPL by then, too. :)

I'm going to Miami for a few days in August to visit my brother, and fishing.

Hawaii trip earlier this year has almost tapped me out. A week and a half or so between Yellowstone and Jackson Hole Wyoming later in the summer with the family along with some extended weekend trips locally to national parks.
Will be in Buffalo, NY for a couple weeks in July but that's for business. What's there to do in July in Buffalo besides Niagara Falls?
