I was just wasting time on the interweb today and went to their site to take a look at a DH fork I overheard some kid talking about. Their FR and DH forks look pretty beefy and have some nice features....anyone have any experience on these or an idea of the price ranges?

I am srue dminor will respond soon. He sports an RST dh fork and rode it all week in whistler last week. Personally, I am not open minded enough to try them.

I have some pretty powerful incentives for keeping an open mind ;)

Here's what carried me around Whistler last week:

'07 RST R1, 7", 36mm stanchions, simple-but-effective damping. This is my second one and it's still a bit too stiffly sprung for my tastes. Never saw a wiper mark on the stanchions above about 6". Might see if there is a set of softer springs.

Here's one I ran on my Yeti before it got my first R1:

'05 RST Sigma X5 8" inverted. I love the Sigmas; I find them plush, forgiving andnot flexy like some inverteds. Springing and damping seem perfectly matched for my scrawny 170 lbs.

RST has a distributorship presence in the USA again - - back in the Pacific Northwest even. Don't know what it's going to mean for retail availablity as of yet.

I'm looking at the space jump fork, looks intriguing.

For everyone's benefit: The USA distributorship in Portland, OR has an online store now (which I discovered only today) where you can buy the upper-end product directly:

Only fork I have seen in raw metal... looks sick.
