I have a tire that my daughter won at a race and am wondering if
1. Its a good tire
2. If I can even use it.

The tire is a Serum Slizer and says for "crotchet type/hooked bead rims only"

Some reviews of then from well established industry vets are here: http://www.vredesteinusa.com/about/reviews.html
"Hooked" is the ridge inside of a rim that holds a kevlar bead in place.

Its a wire bead tire though.

Will it work on my Mavic rims?

Maxxis?, Panaracer?, ....etc.
