Hey I've been looking at that one too! I can't speak for the quality as I have not ordered mine yet either. But perhaps the biggest reason for the price difference is the fact that it does NOT INCLUDE A BATTERY!!! Most of the other kits that are running between 400-600 include the battery with them. I have no idea what a battery will cost. I'm still researching that part. I would be interested if anyone knows as I am trying to determine what the FINAL COST of this kit will actually be when compared to the others (Comparing apples to apples).

That is very nice price. Thanks for the link, sock. What's the shipping?

The cost for 3 good 12V SLA batteries would be about $75, digitalman. The good thing about not including the batts is that you can decide what type you want: Nimh, nicad or even those new dewalt jobs, which are all lighter. You'd probably have to get another charger, though...another expense.

I'll wait on other reviewers to see if this company is on the up and up, though.

Have you received your kit yet? I wait with bated breath! :)

Definately thinking of buying one myself. But would like to hear from someone who has actually received one and how they liked it.
