I am looking for some hubs to build up single speed wheels. I don't want to go with anything rediculously expensive (chris king or phil wood come to mind), but I want something decent. Also, I would prefer them to not be disc hubs.

oh, and if anyone knows of any decent prebuilt wheels that aren't too pricey feel free to throw out those suggestions.

I really like the surly hubs.

yeah, I think about the cheapest you will get with any kind of quality is surly 1x1's laced to rhynolites or WTB rims

They have them at Jenson USA for 105.

you know you can also use your existing wheels right? just put on cassette spacers and get a cog? I just throw this out there because it seems price is of some concern to you.

The cassette to SS kits are relaticvely inexpensive - id go down that road if price was paramount

Price isn't a huge deal to me. And I need a new set of wheels for this bike anyway. I just wanted to avoid people suggesting 1000 dollar wheelsets to me.
