I love this man's work, especially his short story "Welcome to the Monkey House". I just wanted to see what people thought about him as an author and what peoples favorite or least favorite works were. Also if you have a good quote throw it in, thanks.

I heard a university commencement he gave a few years ago. Told the graduates to stop wasting their time "talking to ghosts on the internet".

HAH! That would be us....

I have read most of his stuff. I really dig his outlook on the world, and think he put some very useful messages into some very entertaining stories. A good man.

I love his work. The quality may be uneven; but he did some things no one else has; and you can't say that about many writers.

I find his books so fun to read, he makes me see the world in ways that I couldn't on my own. Favs that I keep going back to are Hocus Pocus, Cat's Craddle and Time Quake.
