Hello all. I am 58, live on Capitol Hill in DC and have recently found myself falling into a potential cycling addiction. I rode like a maniac as a kid but rarely during my working years. My wife and I always kept bikes in the garage but only used them to ride down to the mall. Last year we took a few longer trips on the C&O towpath and caught a touch of the bug. In May we took a VBT tour to Italy with some friends and got heavily infected. Now we are biking regularly. I'm looking forward to picking your brains about equipment, techniques, trails etc.

Hello donheff, I don't think you have a 'potential' cycling addiction. It sounds to me as if you have a full blown case.

Do you have photos of the tour to Italy? You could post them over in the Touring forum, along with a description of the tour.

East Hill I set up a gallery on a Web site in my basement for tour participants to post photos in (tiny URL removed) I will find the tour forum and post there.
