Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - tools of the gods? (njs/keirin)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

this is a HIGHLY prized and very rare njs "poople skirt". keirin racers use this more as a cape, when flying over america and shooting lasers out of their eyes at american njs fanboys that don't even race track, let alone need a njs aproved bike. check it out! it'll hopefully match that njs purse and lipstick you love.

OMG, Please do tell where I can get a njs purse and lipstick. I absolutely must have them. Though it's critical that the purse match the Sidi Bullets I wear when I ride my Anchor.

hozan! I knew about the lockring tool but I didnt realize they were a big tool company, thanks!
njs fanboi threads-- especially stupid ones like this-- make me want to put razor blades in things.
if you're not riding in a keirin league overseen by njs, why do y our TOOLS have to be njs? Assuming there's even such a THING as njs tools! I wonder, in decibels, how loud a japanese keirin rider would laugh at such a ******** notion.

Yeah, it's quite reasonable to assume that Hozan would produce only lockring tools.

They wouldnt laugh cause most japanese people arent total ******bags...unlike many Americans, who just love to give people **** for no reason whatsoever.

Why would box-ended be any better than open-ended?
edit: Damn. I just made this thread hit 2 pages :(
In all seriousness, Hozan is the only tool company from Japan that I've had first hand experience with, other than Shimano. Shimano produces a Japanese-market 1/8" chainwhip/lockring tool that's absolutely stellar -- the TL-SR22:

As for Hozan, I think their tools are superior to Park's and right around the same pricepoint, or slightly more (but less than VAR.) Specifically, the chain pliers, headset cup press, lockring tool, and cone wrenches are all great. Well worthwhile. Their catalogue is available here. (http://www.hozan.co.jp/english/) biketoolsetc.com sells their tools at very reasonable prices, as well.

Come on spooki is it really necessary to be such a vadge?
