Road Bike Racing - I cant find TDF Coverage in NY (LI)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Where can i see TDF? I have Cablevision IO Digital cable and cannot find it anywhere. I am on Long Island.

The channel is Outdoor Life Network (OLN). If Cablevision doesn't offer it in your market, all you can do is complain, or see if one of the satellite companies has it.

I dont get that one, the TV Guide claims FSNY (Fox Sports New York) plays recaps or whatever but when you go to that channel at the time the display says Tour De France but an infomercial is on with some garbage pail of the future.

Been there, nothing but problems, IO was a better choice for the amount of televisions i have hooked up. Every TV Doesnt need a box like with satellite tv, you just dont get the io stuff with the tv's hooked directly to the cable, with direct tv if i want to use it every tv has to have the reciever. Although getting one for june and then getting rid of it would have been worth it.

If you are really desperate to watch the TdF and you have a fast internet connection, I suggest you check out BITORRENT.
It's a new form of peer to peer file sharing. Just type it into google and you'll find a wealth of information on it.
After that, head over to www.suprnova.org. I know someone is posting the Tour de France stages (albeit in german).

You can also listen to the race live on the OLN site even if you can't view it. It is the same commentary as the TV program and is fun to listen to.
