Ok, I feel stupid for even posting this, but anyways..
Anyone know of any grips that are a dark purple? Like that would match some eggplant deep v's?
Like the purple Oury's, but a shade or two darker?

RIT dye?

It's not a big deal, I don't think I'll find 'em. Thanks for the suggestion Danny.
RIT Dye is for fabric, not rubber.

^it works on plastic, we used to use it on lacrosse sticks. just be sure to use hot water.
i don't see why not rubber.

it sort of works on rubber, i've dyed shoes before, you just can't predict the final product very accurately. the black RIT dye turned the canvas black and the rubber a dark purple.

Yeah, RIT black is blue-base like most modern black dyes and rubber and urethane don't accept it as well, I'd give it a try though.
P.S. My buddies use it for longboard wheels, it works.
I've used RIT on plastic before, haven't tried it on grips....

I would love to see what happens when you ride RIT-dyed grips in the rain with your Rapha goatskin gloves...

reminds me of when i used a burgundy-dyed and not-so-well rinsed lacrosse pocket at practice.
i still remember the look on the coach's face when he realized that over half of our practice balls were now permanently pink.

Yeah, I figured they're probably a little darker, and they'll get dirty as I use 'em.
